The Commissioner awarded almost £100,000 funding to statutory, third & business sector organisations/partnerships to implement measures in priority towns/park areas across Hertfordshire, with a focus on bids that seek to tackle issues of crime/antisocial behaviour (ASB) from the summer and then into autumn and winter.
Examples of the types of initiatives funded include a North Herts Women’s Safety Charter, access to a Mobile Police Station, Theft Prevention Marking in St Albans for Businesses/Retailers and various Youth Diversion/Intervention projects across Hertfordshire.
In all, 22 projects were awarded funding across Herts, covering every district / borough area.
The scheme is currently closed but may reopen in 2026/27. Please keep checking this page for updates.
